Square 17 Chambers will always be open and transparent as to the cost of professional services that clients seek and/or instructions for. Work can only be done under the Legal Aid provisions where counsel is instructed by a solicitor who holds a relevant Representation Order.

Clients who are either ineligible for Legal Aid, or who prefer to instruct privately will be advised in clear and unambiguous terms as to the cost of each stage of the work that is contemplated, and work will not be done that is beyond the scope of what is agreed.
